A video price needs scope
A quote may include concept development, filming, editing and one final file—or only part of that work. Before comparing numbers, specify length, number of concepts, alternative openings, revision rounds and delivery dates. There is no useful universal price without this context.
Separate production from usage
Ask whether the fee covers organic posting, paid advertising, raw footage or posting from the creator’s account. Duration and territory can also matter. Keep the usage agreement explicit so neither side assumes permissions the other did not price.
Compare equivalent proposals
Send the same brief to the shortlisted creators and ask them to identify exclusions. A lower quote may omit editing or include narrower usage. Choose based on fit, clear communication and the required deliverable rather than a headline rate alone.
Your next brief
Put these decisions in writing before you start production. A short brief gives the creator and reviewer the same standard to work towards. Keep the approved source material with the final file so the next version can build on the work rather than start again.

- Usage. Define where and how long the work may appear.
