Some tools write a script, others generate footage, and others publish an existing video. Write down the step you want to reduce. A tool that solves a different step can look impressive while leaving your actual bottleneck untouched.
Bring a difficult but realistic brief
Use a product with a specific feature and one limitation. Ask for a short demonstration script and inspect whether the limitation survives. Check that the images refer to the actual product and that you can revise an inaccurate sentence without restarting the entire job.
Count approved work
Measure how many results meet your review criteria and how much extra editing they need. Compare cost and time per approved post, not total drafts. Keep account connection and scheduling as separate checks if you need a complete publishing workflow.
