Give every creative test a clear question.
Separate your message hypothesis from the production format. A product demonstration, creator explanation and carousel might all test the same benefit. Decide whether you are comparing benefits or executions before making variants.
One product, three content directions
For a scheduling product, test “fewer missed handoffs” against “clearer ownership” using the same offer. Keep the destination consistent and document what changed between creatives.
- Explain. A product demonstration.
- Show. A problem-and-resolution script.
- Answer. A carousel explaining one buying objection.
Before you approve the post
Offer consistency, landing page, asset permissions and current advertising requirements.
Keep current product information next to the creative brief. Ask the reviewer to check what the viewer will reasonably understand, not only whether each sentence is literally true. Check the caption and destination as carefully as the video.
Measure the useful next step
Choose the event that matters to the campaign and use a consistent reporting window. Do not infer causality from an isolated result.
Build a repeatable routine
Start with a small batch you can review properly. Keep the strongest idea, save the questions it raises and turn those questions into the next brief. Revisit posts when the product or offer changes so your most useful explanations stay accurate.
