Explain the workflow your customer wants to change.
Feature names make sense to your team. Buyers need the situation: a handoff that gets lost, an approval that stalls or a report that takes too long to assemble. Show the situation before introducing the feature name.
One product, three content directions
For an approval tool, show a draft with an owner, one requested revision and a final approval. The useful story is a clear handoff. Avoid claiming a time saving unless you have measured it.
- Explain. A single-workflow screen demo.
- Show. A carousel explaining a common process mistake.
- Answer. A response to a real pre-sales question.
Before you approve the post
Plan restrictions, integrations, permissions and the state of the interface in the recording.
Keep current product information next to the creative brief. Ask the reviewer to check what the viewer will reasonably understand, not only whether each sentence is literally true. Check the caption and destination as carefully as the video.
Measure the useful next step
Use campaign links and product analytics where available. Keep demo requests, trials and activated accounts as different milestones.
Build a repeatable routine
Start with a small batch you can review properly. Keep the strongest idea, save the questions it raises and turn those questions into the next brief. Revisit posts when the product or offer changes so your most useful explanations stay accurate.
Postroven’s guides are available now. The planned content studio, generation and scheduling features are not yet available. Use this playbook with the production tools your team already trusts.
