The formula
(Eligible views ÷ 1,000) × assumed revenue per thousand eligible views
Worked example
At 100,000 hypothetical eligible views and an assumed rate of $0.40 per thousand, the model returns $40. The rate is an illustration, not a TikTok payout benchmark or a prediction.
Choose comparable inputs
Eligibility, qualified views and programme terms must come from your own account and current platform documentation. Sponsorships, affiliate revenue and product sales are separate streams; calculate them separately.
A result you can explain
- Definition. Write down every metric included in the numerator.
- Denominator. Use views, reach or followers consistently.
- Window. Compare the same period after publication.
- Context. Keep paid distribution and organic distribution distinguishable.
What the number does not establish
A calculated rate summarises the inputs you choose. It does not prove an audience is authentic, a sale was caused by a post or that a future post will perform similarly. Keep the original counts so another person can check your calculation.
