TikTok slideshow maker: give every slide a job

Outline a TikTok photo slideshow that makes a useful promise and delivers a readable sequence.

Start with the job

Choose between a native photo post and a video made from stills before designing. They are different outputs with different editing and publishing paths. Keep the first slide self-contained so people know why they should continue.

A practical example

For a note-taking app: slide one promises “A meeting note you can act on”; slide two separates decisions from discussion; slide three shows owners; slide four adds dates; slide five shows the finished example.

Illustrative brief, not a customer result or generated product output.

Build your brief

  • Sequence. Write one point per slide before choosing images.
  • Readability. Check text at phone size with interface overlays in mind.
  • Payoff. Finish the explanation before adding a product invitation.

Review before publishing

Remove any slide that repeats the previous one. A shorter sequence that completes its promise is more useful than padding the carousel to an arbitrary slide count.

Keep the brief beside the finished creative. You should be able to point to the fact, image or product behaviour behind each statement. Save the approved version with its caption so later edits do not undo the review.
